The All-new Volvo S60 has been named a Top Safety Pick, which does not surprise us in the very least, especially as the S60 has standard safety technologoy not even OFFERED by our competition. Details: If the redesigned Volvo S60 has caught your eye, you’ll like that it held up well in crash tests, earning “Top Safety Pick” status from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The S60 received the IIHS’s top score of “Good” in front, side, roof strength and overall rear crash protection tests. It also comes standard with electronic stability control. IIHS crash test data was impressive. “Measurements taken during the S60’s testing show a low risk of significant injury in a 40-mph frontal-offset crash.
