Rain, Snow, and Fog...all conditions in which you might see a Volvo with what looks like one brake light on. But in most of those scenarios, that isn't the case. What you see here can be identified as "bragging rights". Those rights belong to Jacob Zimmerman, who just took delivery of the new 2013 Volvo C30 Polestar Limited Edition. Yes, as the plaque implies there are only 250 examples being produced, and Jacob's was number one. James Bond celebrates 50 years of movie action this year with the latest movie "Skyfall". Of course, most people associate Bond with a silver Aston Martin, but there are a couple of Volvo connections with the history of 007. The most recent connection was in the 2008 Bond film, "Quantum of Solace", in which Daniel Craig can be seen driving a Volvo S40 R-Design during a scene in Austria. It's a brief appearance, but a Volvo in a Bond film nonetheless. Another connection is with Roger Moore, who has appeared as James Bond more than any other actor in the role. Prior to taking the role in 1972, Moore had appeared in the television series "The Saint". In that show, Moore's character drove a stunning Volvo P1800 coupe. So there you have it, 007 and Volvo share a connection...or a bond, if you will.
