Volvo XC90 Recharge voted twice as of the Best Family Cars by Parents!



In May, experts at Parents Group and A Girl’s Guide to Cars thoroughly tested over 50 new car models, including minivans, three-row SUVS, two-row SUVs, and sedans, to determine this year’s list of Best Family Cars of 2022. Candidates were chosen based on high-tech performance, safety, and convenience features across multiple categories. 

    With family and safety in mind when manufacturing our vehicles, the XC90 Recharge found its place on the list of Best Family Cars for the second year in a row! Also identified as the "best three-row ECO SUV", the XC90 was spotlighted for its “premium safety features, standard AWD, and powerful four-cylinder turbo engine, as well as its high-tech performance, test drive standards, and high ratings from the National Highway Traffic Administration.”

    The 2022 XC90 Recharge is powered by Volvos most efficient plug-in hybrid electric powertrain, delivering high power and durability. With a total range of 540 miles, XC90 can travel up to 35 miles on a single charge in Pure electric mode. All XC90 Recharge models come standard with a powerful rear electric motor that improves AWD capabilities, while also optimizing safety in slippery conditions. The vehicle also provides advanced features such as intelligent safety assistance technology, four cameras providing a 360-degree view of its surroundings, and our blind spot information system (BLIS), making it a perfect choice for any family.

Here is your Volvo Safety...

What you see above is the result of an accident between a tractor trailer, a Volvo XC60...and another tractor trailer. If you think the end result is devastating, just be aware...the driver and passenger of the Volvo XC60 walked away from this accident with only minor injuries. This accident happened in Brussels a couple of days ago, here is some of the report from their newspaper: A car containing a mother and daughter crashed into the back of a truck. The vehicle disappeared completely under the rear end of the heavy truck. To make matters worse, a heavy truck crashed into the Volvo XC60 from behind. The result was a lot of scrap. The emergency services had to rescue the two women from the car, who were trapped for more than one hour. The fire brigade had to cut off the roof of the vehicle before being able to set them free.
