What is to come for 2023: New Updates
As the year continues to progress, we will begin to start seeing the 2023 lineup hit our lots. The entire 2023 lineup will consist of mild hybrid, hybrid, and electric vehicles. The XC90 and XC40 SUVs, as well as the V60 Cross Country, will now come standard with mild hybrid engines (badged B4, B5, and B6). This choice will help Volvo further push their efforts to become carbon neutral by 2040.
There is a Volvo for everyone in our 2023 lineup. The mild hybrid allows a smooth transition from your traditional gas powered car, to a car combined with gas and electricity. There is no need for charging, either. The mild hybrid charges itself simply by pressing the brake.
Plug-in hybrids offer all-electric driving in Pure mode while still providing a traditional gasoline-powered engine. And for those ready to make the jump to electric, the 402 horsepower, battery electric XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge luxury crossover offer zero tailpipe emissions.
The 2023 lineup will also be seeing some interior and exterior changes including new colors and trim levels!
When it comes to charging your electric vehicle (EV) there are many different options available. Volvo Cars App and Google Built in make charging easy on the road, and can identify charging stations near you so you never have to worry! Whether your on the road and need a local charging station, which offer level 2 and 3 chargers, or at home, charging is available. At home chargers come in different levels, level one and level two. Each level offers a different variant of power, and will affect how long it will take to charge your vehicle. For example; The standard Level 1
120V AC household outlet offers a Full Charge in *~6 to ~8 hours (PHEV), and ~50 to ~72 hours (BEV), while Level 2
240V AC household outlet Charging Time to Full Charge
*~3 to ~4 hours (PHEV)
~8 to ~10 hours (BEV).
The 2023 lineup will be coming to our stores soon, so act fast!
