Volvo adds Apple Car Play to Model Year 2023 for over-the-air updates 






    Volvo has recently announced that all model year 2023 vehicles will be eligible for over-the-air updates via Apple Car Play.  Apple Car Play makes it easier for new Volvo owners by updating your vehicle without having to go into the dealership. Go along with your day without the hassle of making an appointment! Our mission is to continuously improve customer cars with the best accessibility and safety technology, and it shows in our 2023 lineup. 

    Apple Car Play also allows iPhone users to connect and access their apps wherever they may be needed! This includes the charging app, which shows users where the nearest charging station is on your travels! 

    “Through over-the-air updates we can make sure that our customers can enjoy new features quickly and easily,” said Jim Nichols, head of product and technology consumer offer at Volvo Car USA. “It also means that a new Volvo car continues improving even after it has left the factory.”

Here is your Volvo Safety...

What you see above is the result of an accident between a tractor trailer, a Volvo XC60...and another tractor trailer. If you think the end result is devastating, just be aware...the driver and passenger of the Volvo XC60 walked away from this accident with only minor injuries. This accident happened in Brussels a couple of days ago, here is some of the report from their newspaper: A car containing a mother and daughter crashed into the back of a truck. The vehicle disappeared completely under the rear end of the heavy truck. To make matters worse, a heavy truck crashed into the Volvo XC60 from behind. The result was a lot of scrap. The emergency services had to rescue the two women from the car, who were trapped for more than one hour. The fire brigade had to cut off the roof of the vehicle before being able to set them free.
