Meet Paige Barlow, Product & Technology Specialist at Lehman Volvo Cars of York

 

Join us as we extend a warm welcome to Paige Barlow, our new Product & Technology Specialist at Lehman Volvo Cars of York! Before joining our team in March 2024, Paige was a student at Penn State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology. She then gained valuable experience as a healthcare recruiter with plans to attend medical school. However, life took her on a different path, leading her to discover a newfound passion for the automotive industry. We are thrilled to onboard Paige to our Lehman Volvo team and are confident that her diverse skills and fresh perspective will meet our customers’ needs, while also upholding Volvo’s longstanding mission of providing the freedom to move in a personal, sustainable, and safe way.

Having grown up around Volvos, Paige developed a deep appreciation for the Volvo brand. Her family emigrated from England in 2007 with the need to find two reliable vehicles. They ended up bringing home a 2007 XC90 and a 2007 S60R from Bob at Lehman Volvo Cars of York. Paige is now a proud owner of a 2015 S60 herself, though her favorite Volvo model would have to be the S60R. Or maybe it’s the S60 Polestar (in Rebel Blue, of course). Wait, no. It’s the Polestar-Engineered V60 instead. It's hard to choose just one Volvo!

As a Product & Technology Specialist, Paige researches and familiarizes herself with the latest Volvo technology, including new safety features and infotainment systems. She then introduces these same features to her customers in a concise manner to ensure they have a seamless and enjoyable experience with their new Volvo.

Outside of work, Paige finds joy in cooking and reading on the couch with her cat, Cosmo. She also enjoys spending time with her partner at the driving range.

Here is your Volvo Safety...

What you see above is the result of an accident between a tractor trailer, a Volvo XC60...and another tractor trailer. If you think the end result is devastating, just be aware...the driver and passenger of the Volvo XC60 walked away from this accident with only minor injuries. This accident happened in Brussels a couple of days ago, here is some of the report from their newspaper: A car containing a mother and daughter crashed into the back of a truck. The vehicle disappeared completely under the rear end of the heavy truck. To make matters worse, a heavy truck crashed into the Volvo XC60 from behind. The result was a lot of scrap. The emergency services had to rescue the two women from the car, who were trapped for more than one hour. The fire brigade had to cut off the roof of the vehicle before being able to set them free.
