Lehman Volvo Cars of York Wins the 2023 Volvo Excellence Award

Wednesday, June 5, 2024, marked a proud moment for Lehman Volvo Cars of York as the dealership was honored with the 2023 Volvo Excellence Award for the fourth time. With only the top 10% of retailers earning this distinction yearly, it is a testament to the entire team’s commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience. 

The Volvo Excellence Award is an annual performance-based award, reserved for Volvo Cars retailers who not only reach their benchmarks but go beyond them. When determining award recipients, a heavy emphasis lies in a retailers proven ability to deliver unparalleled customer satisfaction and excellent service in all areas of operation. Retailers who receive the Volvo Excellence Award are then visited by representatives from Volvo Cars USA who formally present the award. 

We are grateful to Volvo Cars USA for recognizing us with this accolade and are appreciative of the time given to travel to us in person. Special recognition also goes to our customers for their loyalty, trust, and the many relationships we’ve been fortunate to foster with them over the last 27 years.

Here is your Volvo Safety...

What you see above is the result of an accident between a tractor trailer, a Volvo XC60...and another tractor trailer. If you think the end result is devastating, just be aware...the driver and passenger of the Volvo XC60 walked away from this accident with only minor injuries. This accident happened in Brussels a couple of days ago, here is some of the report from their newspaper: A car containing a mother and daughter crashed into the back of a truck. The vehicle disappeared completely under the rear end of the heavy truck. To make matters worse, a heavy truck crashed into the Volvo XC60 from behind. The result was a lot of scrap. The emergency services had to rescue the two women from the car, who were trapped for more than one hour. The fire brigade had to cut off the roof of the vehicle before being able to set them free.
