Meet Andy MacCord, Our New Sales Manager Who “Bleeds Blue”

 

From an automotive service advisor to a finance manager in Maryland, we are excited to announce Andy MacCord as the new Sales Manager at Lehman Volvo Cars of York.

As a member of the Volvo leadership guild for over 20 years and previous Sales Manager at Bill Kidd Volvo, Andy embodies a genuine desire to serve others. His attentiveness and meticulous eye for detail are among many qualities that anyone within ten feet of him is bound to notice.

We are beyond confident that Andy’s unique expertise will meet the needs of our customers while also upholding Volvo’s mission to provide individuals with the freedom to move in a personal, sustainable, and safe way.

Aside from Volvo, Andy finds joy in staying active by participating in several outdoor sports including paddleboarding with his beloved wife and faithful canine companion, Taffy. He also enjoys putting his certified rock-climbing license to good use now and then, so long as the weather permits!

Here is your Volvo Safety...

What you see above is the result of an accident between a tractor trailer, a Volvo XC60...and another tractor trailer. If you think the end result is devastating, just be aware...the driver and passenger of the Volvo XC60 walked away from this accident with only minor injuries. This accident happened in Brussels a couple of days ago, here is some of the report from their newspaper: A car containing a mother and daughter crashed into the back of a truck. The vehicle disappeared completely under the rear end of the heavy truck. To make matters worse, a heavy truck crashed into the Volvo XC60 from behind. The result was a lot of scrap. The emergency services had to rescue the two women from the car, who were trapped for more than one hour. The fire brigade had to cut off the roof of the vehicle before being able to set them free.
