The American Chiropractic Association grants Exclusive Endorsement to Volvo for their Seats 


Volvo Car USA is the first auto-brand to receive an endorsement from the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) for their well designed seats. The endorsement includes Volvo's entire lineup, from May 2022 to May 2023. After much deliberation and a series of tests, the ACA can confidently state that Volvo makes their seats with the highest level of quality for their consumers. 

An endorsement granted by the ACA means the product, in this case, Volvo's seats, are of highest quality. The product goes through reviews, analysis, testing, and multiple evaluations from Doctors of Chiropractic. The final decision is made with the ACA Board of Governors'. 

Although, what is it that makes Volvo's seats ACA quality? When designing their seats, Volvo Car USA chose to do a collaboration with orthopedic surgeons to make sure their customers were receiving not only a comfortable and high quality product, but also a safe one. Jim Nichols, Head Product and Technology Consumer at Volvo Car US states "seats designed by Volvo Cars ensure drivers and passengers never have to sacrifice comfort, design, or safety when on the road". While safety is always a priority, these seats are also designed for luxury and comfort, making driving in a Volvo feel like a true Scandinavian sanctuary. Drivers and passengers can also take advantage of ventilated climate control to cool down on a hot day or even a massage function! Truly remarkable design work, while keeping customers needs in mind. It is no doubt why the ACA deemed Volvo's interior seating endorsement worthy. 

Always keeping safety in mind, Volvo believes that when customers can sit comfortably and relaxed, it helps reduce driver fatigue. Included in every seat is (WHIPS), or, Whiplash Protection System, Side Impact Protection, and Run-Off Road Mitigation that helps reduce risk of injury during an accident. Of course, another way to prevent injury in an accident is to always remember to wear your seatbelt! Up until 1959, we did not see seatbelts within vehicles until Volvo invented them! Volvo is truly the pioneer of automotive safety! 

Also included with the new seating, Volvo has also announced that their Fully-Electric Vehicles (BEV) will be designed leather free. In replacement are higher quality sustainable alternatives, In addition, Volvo will use a new material called Nordico, which is made from recycled PET bottles, bio-attributed material from sustainable forest's in Sweden and Finland, and recycled corks.

Here is your Volvo Safety...

What you see above is the result of an accident between a tractor trailer, a Volvo XC60...and another tractor trailer. If you think the end result is devastating, just be aware...the driver and passenger of the Volvo XC60 walked away from this accident with only minor injuries. This accident happened in Brussels a couple of days ago, here is some of the report from their newspaper: A car containing a mother and daughter crashed into the back of a truck. The vehicle disappeared completely under the rear end of the heavy truck. To make matters worse, a heavy truck crashed into the Volvo XC60 from behind. The result was a lot of scrap. The emergency services had to rescue the two women from the car, who were trapped for more than one hour. The fire brigade had to cut off the roof of the vehicle before being able to set them free.
