  Yes, people do get surprised with new vehicles for Christmas. In fact,   Lehman Volvo usually has at least one surprise vehicle purchase each year (sometimes more). As a follow-up to our last post, we thought we would share exactly how the Andersons put 4,542 miles on their new 2014 Volvo S60 in Europe. Lehman Volvo client Autumn Walden recently found out why we say “Volvo for life”. Travelling on the turnpike near Pittsburgh in her recently purchased Volvo C70 she ran into a problem that is prevalent this time of year.   That problem was a deer. Thankfully, Volvo knows how destructive large animals can be, as there are a lot of deer (and moose) in Sweden. As a result, they engineer all of their vehicles to withstand large animal encounters. And, as the photos show, the results are impressive. Autumn and her passenger escaped unharmed after the head to head encounter at 70 miles an hour. Needless to say, Autumn has since replaced her Volvo C70 with a new one. Another Lehman Volvo customer for life!
