3rd Annual "Protect the Gifts” Car Seat Campaign

Lehman Volvo is proud to present its 3rd annual "Protect the Gifts" Car Seat Campaign this Holiday Season.  There are many new parents in the Central Pennsylvania region who simply cannot afford new child seats for their families, and unfortunately end up compromising on safety.  Standing behind Volvo's core value of safety, Lehman Volvo will select families in need of infant, toddler, and/or booster seats and provide them new car seats.  Lehman Volvo believes the gift of safety is something everyone should have. Ray Bromley, Lehman Volvo Owner and President, explains: “During this time of year, the tendency is to start compiling a list of gifts for loved ones and we don’t always take the time to reflect upon the gifts we already have…our children. Aw Shucks...It's The 41st Annual Oyster Festival

This past Sunday, Lehman Volvo sponsored the 41st Annual Oyster Festival located at the Agricultural & Industrial Museum in York. And although it was a cold, windy, and rainy day (yes, even some flurries made an appearance), over 2,000 oyster-lovers attended York's great tradition! The Oyster line forming once the gates opened at 11am Oysters were prepared stewed, raw, and the crowd favorite, fried.  Not an oyster fan?  That is OK too!  Crab cakes, shrimp, BBQ sandwiches, chicken corn soup, hot dogs, mac & cheese, and apple fritters were also found at the festival.    After indulging in plates full of food, attendees toured the Agricultural & Industrial Museum, where many original York County artifacts are displayed.  The festival also included artisan craftsmen, a silent auction, and live music by The Wild Hymns.  Lehman Volvo loves being part of a great York tradition, and will continue to support the York Country Heritage Trust in their future

Leukemia And Lymphoma Society Light The Night Walk

Image
On Saturday, October 10th, the Lehman Motors team marched across City Island to commemorate those who have or have had blood cancer, and to celebrate the advancements that are made every day in blood cancer research. The annual Harrisburg Chapter Light the Night Walk raises thousands of dollars to support treatment research, to provide free patient educational and support programs, and to provide one-on-one patient assistance through the LLS Information Resource Center. Last year, all the Harrisburg teams combined raised over $250,000. Thank you to all who supported Lehman Motors in their efforts to raise funds and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. With your support, Lehman Motors proudly raised over $4,000 for this year's Light the Night Walk! To stay updated with the LLS fundraisers, follow Lehman Volvo on Facebook and Twitter . Check back on the LLS Central Pennsylvania website to see how much money was raised in 2015.
