'Tis the Season for...Fall Volvo Shows



Well, as the leaves start to turn, the car show season starts to wind down...but we are going down swinging! Lehman Volvo is hosting not one, but two Volvo car shows. The first one "Lehman Volvo/Volvo Club of York Fall Meet" will take place this Saturday at Lehman Volvo in York (www.lehmanvolvoyork.com ). There will be a lot of cool modified Volvos and vehicle judging for best-in-show. The meet takes place Saturday, October 4th from 10 AM to 1 PM at Lehman Volvo York: 950 North Hills Road, York PA.



The second show "Volvos and Coffee" will take place Saturday, October 18th at Lehman Motors Volvo in Mechanicsburg (www.lehmanvolvo.com ) Of course there will be Volvos from all eras...and coffee (plus other food and beverages). A laid-back event and a chance for everyone to take in the history of Volvo vehicles. "Volvos and Coffee" takes place Saturday, October 18th from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Here is your Volvo Safety...

What you see above is the result of an accident between a tractor trailer, a Volvo XC60...and another tractor trailer. If you think the end result is devastating, just be aware...the driver and passenger of the Volvo XC60 walked away from this accident with only minor injuries. This accident happened in Brussels a couple of days ago, here is some of the report from their newspaper: A car containing a mother and daughter crashed into the back of a truck. The vehicle disappeared completely under the rear end of the heavy truck. To make matters worse, a heavy truck crashed into the Volvo XC60 from behind. The result was a lot of scrap. The emergency services had to rescue the two women from the car, who were trapped for more than one hour. The fire brigade had to cut off the roof of the vehicle before being able to set them free.
