Meet Kathy Spangler – Greeter at Lehman Volvo Cars of York

 

Have you met Kathy Spangler yet? If not, you might be missing out on some amazing recipes!

With a background in finance and insurance, Kathy Spangler joined the Lehman Volvo Cars of York team in March 2023 as a Greeter/Receptionist. Not only does she find joy in meeting new people every day, but also in swapping cooking recipes with them. One customer even promised they’d bring her back figs from their fig tree, while another claimed they felt like they had just become new best friends after a single conversation.

Concerning the Volvo brand, two words that often come to Kathy’s mind are reliable and reputable. It thus comes as little surprise to discover that her favorite Volvo is a Crystal White XC60 or XC90  SUV.

On her days off, Kathy can be found working in her garden, road-tripping with grandchildren, or photographing all the amazing wildlife in her backyard including foxes, eagles, and deer.

Here is your Volvo Safety...

What you see above is the result of an accident between a tractor trailer, a Volvo XC60...and another tractor trailer. If you think the end result is devastating, just be aware...the driver and passenger of the Volvo XC60 walked away from this accident with only minor injuries. This accident happened in Brussels a couple of days ago, here is some of the report from their newspaper: A car containing a mother and daughter crashed into the back of a truck. The vehicle disappeared completely under the rear end of the heavy truck. To make matters worse, a heavy truck crashed into the Volvo XC60 from behind. The result was a lot of scrap. The emergency services had to rescue the two women from the car, who were trapped for more than one hour. The fire brigade had to cut off the roof of the vehicle before being able to set them free.
