The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society have just kicked off their raffle of a brand-new Volvo C30. Lehman Volvo is proud to be a part of this raffle, as they have provided the vehicle that is to be raffled. You can't see the vehicle right now...and that's because the winner will be able to select the C30 interior and exterior color just the way they want it. Keep in mind the all-new C30 can be optioned out over 5 million different ways (no joke!). All the proceeds of the raffle go directly to the LLS, and they are only selling 500 tickets. Tickets have been selling well and are only $100 each, so contact the LLS today at 717-652-6520 to purchase your ticket. Auto Show Wrap-Up

Image
Well, the 2008 Pennsylvania Auto and Boat Show came to an end yesteday, and wow..the weekend was packed! There always seems to be a fascination with brand new products, and there were plenty on display. The big buzz around the Lehman Volvo stand was the IPD Volvo C30, a concept car that is based on the brand new 2008 Volvo C30. There were plenty of people taking pictures of this one! Believe it or not, this thing does run...and has a supercharger, AND N.O.S. set-up. ABC27 covered this vehicle, which makes 384 horsepower and 409 pound feet of torque. On the Saab side of the building there were all 3 variants of the 2008 Saab 9-3, and of course a 9-5 and 9-7X SUV on hand. Next year should be even better! www.LehmanVolvo.com www.LehmanVolvoYork.com www.LehmanSaab.com .

Volvo and Saab at the Pennsylvania Auto and Boat Show

Well, set-up was today for the big show and the excitement is building! Lots of new cars this year, including the Saab 9-3 Sport Sedan, Sport Combi and Convertible. Also, the Volvo C30, xc70, and V70. The Volvo display has a great concept car built by IPD. They have been tuning Volvos since 1963 and the car they have in Harrisburg is in a word...awesome. And since this is also a boat show, we have a new XC90 in towing row, hooked up to a very nice new boat powered by a Volvo outboard motor (of course!). You might not think of the XC90 as a towing vehicle, but it can tow up to 5,000 pounds without any modification, so yes it's safe to say you can haul your Volvo with a Volvo. Make sure you come out to The Pennsylvania Auto and Boat Show, starting TOMORROW at the State Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg. You can purchase discount tickets at Lehman Volvo and Lehman Saab www.LehmanVolvo.com www.LehmanSaab.com

Auto Show around the corner.

If you love cars, The Harrisburg Auto and Boat show is the place to be. If you love Volvos and Saabs...you better believe there will be great new models on display from both brands. Also, there will be a Volvo concept car on display from IPD. This one is worth the trip! We won't give it away here, just come out to the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex from January 23rd to the 27th to see for yourself. Speaking of Auto Shows, the North American Auto Show is going on right now, and one of the big unveils was the Saab 9-4X concept. This crossover looks GREAT, and we will see a production version some time in the next year. There will also be a Volvo Crossover coming called the XC60, and that vehicle looks to be just as amazing. There is plenty to look forward to!

Happy New Year and new Saabs...FAST new Saabs

In what is a very fast way to ring in the new year Saab has a couple of amazing performance vehicles. One here and one on the way. The one we have at Lehman Saab is the new 9-7X Aero. And it is a blast! 390 horsepower...all wheel drive...and a unique exterior. The Aero name means business, and the latest Aero will scoot to 60 under 6 seconds...not bad for a real size SUV. More details later on the other performance Saab...it will be legendary. in the meantime, check out http://www.lehmansaab.com/

Old Volvo meet new Volvo

Image
T he vehicle you see here is a 1969 Volvo P1800S. This car is sitting in our showroom at Lehman Volvo York right this second. It is parked beside the new Volvo C30, which itself is sort of a retro car, hence the old coupe in its company. The P1800 was a new kind of Volvo back in the 60's. It looked cool, was capable of ticket enducing speeds, and was comfortable. The C30 takes that idea and runs with it. It has 227 horsepower, AWESOME seats, and looks to die for. What the C30 has that the p1800 never did is a custom build feature. This means there are over 5 million different ways to order your C30. Want red interior? Want sport pedals?Want power folding mirrors?...the list goes on and on. And AND AND it starts under $23,000. AND AND AND we have some in stock! *gasp!* Check this thing out at www.LehmanVolvo.com and www.LehmanVolvoYork.com .

Protect the Gifts you already have...

If you've been out and about in York you might have noticed some Holiday Volvo billboards. If not, here's what they look like: Great message and to the point (of course I am biased). One thing that Volvo does better than anyone else is safety. Think about this: the next time you get in your car and put on your seat belt you are putting on a Volvo design. Volvo invented the 3-point belt, and because they wanted everyone to benefit from this invention, they did not patent the design. So even if you don't own a Volvo you are being protected by Volvo. www.LehmanVolvo.com www.LehmanVolvoYork.com www.LehmanSaab.com
