Happy Earth Day from Lehman Volvo

Image
There is no doubt that safety is a Volvo core value; when thinking of Volvo, safety immediately comes to mind. But did you know, another Volvo core value is environmental care? Environmental care influences all Volvo operations.  Volvo envisions it all...between their efficient and less polluting Drive-E powertrain, to the air inside a Volvo, which is cleaner than that outside air thanks to Volvo's climate control system.  Most recently, Volvo has debuted the all-new 2016 XC90 T8 Plug-in-Hybrid---the first hybrid luxury SUV to be powered by gas, electric energy and  other cars .  Take a look at Volvo's unique XC90 T8 campaign: Here are just  some  of many environmental firsts from Volvo: 1945  Volvo introduces re-manufactured spare parts - an exchange system still in use 1976  Three-way catalytic converter with oxygen sensor (Lambdasond ® ) removes up to 90% of noxious exhaust fumes. 50 Child Car Seats Donated this Holiday Season

Image
Every year, Lehman Volvo stands behind Volvo’s core value of safety and donates child car seats during its “Protect the Gifts” Car Seat Campaign. This past December Lehman Volvo donated 50 child car seats to families throughout the Central Pennsylvania region. Ray Bromley, Lehman Motors Owner and President, explains: “During this time of year, the tendency is to start compiling a list of gifts for loved ones and we don’t always take the time to reflect upon the gifts we already have…our children. This campaign is a nice way of putting that thought into a meaningful effort for our community.”  The “Protect the Gifts” Car Seat Campaign is a holiday tradition that Lehman Volvo looks forward to every year. A special thank you goes out to all of the Certified Car Seat Technicians from Safe Kids PA who dedicated their time to ensure that each and every car seat was safely installed. Congratulations to all the families who received a car seat this holiday season. May you travel s...
