Volvo VS. VW...Convertibles!

In another installment of Volvo VS... "The Value of Volvo Certified Pre-Owned", let's look at convertibles. This time we will compare the premium Volvo C70 Hardtop Convertible vs. The mainstream Volkswagen Eos Hardtop convertible. A VW is typically an affordable car, however, when we compare the CPO Volvo C70 against a new Eos, then you start to scratch your head on why it makes sense to choose the EOS.

To start, both vehicles feature a hard-top and seating for 4 (though the C70 is a little more generous in that regard). The Volvo features a Factory-backed 6 year/100,000 mile warranty from the original in service date, while the VW features 5 year/60,000 (powertrain only. Comprehensive is 3 years), compared with leather seating and premium wheels and sound, the Certified Pre-Owned C70 comes in around $33,000, while a new Eos will set you back $37,500. Advantage...the premium Volvo C70 Hardtop. Find yours in Mechanisburg or York.
