Dogust: Celebrating National Dog Month
In honor of National Dog Month, Volvo expresses their concern for the safety and well-being of dogs, as they do their customers. Everyone should feel safe, including our four-legged family members. Our mission is to bring awareness to the importance of pet safety in the car, while providing tools to ensure their well taken care of on their Volvo journey.
The Volvo Dog harness ensures your dog remains comfortable and secure in the back seat, just in case of any sudden stops or movement. An unrestrained dog can suffer injuries and become a danger to other passengers if not properly secured. We want to make sure our passengers are always safe, humans and pets included.
The dog gate meets strict collision safety requirements, and is designed to keep your dog comfortable and secure for long car rides. The gate is meant to fit your vehicles luggage compartment, ensuring your dog rides securely and comfortably. Long drives can become stressful for any dog. An anxious dog moving about the vehicle can create an unsafe environment, so it is important to keep them secure. (*Available for select Volvo models)
As we continue into the warmer months, please make sure you do not let your dog overheat in the car. We hear too many stories about about furry friends being left in hot cars, and want to reduce these incidences by encouraging customers to bring their dogs inside a participating Volvo retailer!
